Snow Geese in Skagit Valley - 02/2009
My friend Melissa & I spent the day in Skagit Valley to witness the annual Snow Geese migration from Russia. There were probably about 60,000 geese in this one field, so you can imagine how noisy it was too. We were lucky to see some Bald Eagles in the area as well. This was my first time photographing a wild eagle!

Lake Washington Birds - 07/2006
Christian & I took a canoe ride on Lake Washington. It was a pleasant way to spend the afternoon. Although, the paddling thru the dense patches of lilly pads was a pain in the butt, but it was worth it.

This is Popeye. She's a harbor seal who hangs out at the marina in Friday Harbor. She's been there for about 15 years & is a popular tourist attraction. You can buy frozen fish to feed her & will wave to you when you dangle one in front of her. Warning, she will splash you if you don't give her the fish too!

Pt. 4: The Seagulls (from FL Vacation)
Of course a beach trip wouldn't be complete w/out lots of pictures of seagulls flying, standing & hovering around me.
